Creation of over 400 individual signs, notices and safety posters to create entirely consistent safety information design across the EMR fleet.
Each train type is audited, leading to the creation of branded signage guides identifying the position and detail of each label within a vehicle.
After review with the project team, Andy created each piece of label artwork, designed to current standards and best practice, reflecting the specific operational requirements of each fleet.
Signage is created to fit the available space within a vehicle, leading to a considered and visually pleasing solution. Reducing visual clutter aids comprehension of vital safety signage.
Andy also created safety posters and emergency instructions in a style in-keeping with the new or refurbished vehicle interiors.
The best train interiors can be let down by inconsistent or poorly considered signage. A suite of bespoke signage is the 'cherry on top' and sets a great transport project apart from the rest.
